AR App for Nike

App showcasing some newly launched Nike shoes in AR, for which two versions have been designed one for customers and one for staff. The latter a bit more complex as it includes a test to check staff members knowledge about the shoes.

CLIENT: Nike

AGENCY: OMM

Air Jordan XXXIII

This is the first of these set of apps and it was originally thought just for staff, with the aim to educate them about each shoes features and to test their knowledge.

Users log in, point the camera to a token and the shoe appears in AR with 3 tech points. Each of these tech points explains a shoe’s feature. Once the user has gone through all the points a pop-up window comes up asking to take a test, which consists of 10 multiple answer questions.

Subsequently Nike decided to create also a customer facing version of the app. Obviously that didn’t need any test, so such feature was removed. In addition though the app is linked to the page where is possible to purchase the shoe on the Nike website.

Air Jordan XI Concord

This app is exclusively customer facing, hence no test section is included. However, it presents another section about the story behind the shoe. That’s because this shoe is a revision of the Concord made for Michael Jordan in 1995.

Nike Mercurial

Also this app was developed exclusively for customers.
