The logo
Amarilla takes the name from the locality where the company was founded: Amarilla Golf, a resort town in the South of Tenerife. Amarilla is the Spanish for yellow, therefore the letters couldn’t be of other colours.
The logo is playfully inspired by the island of Tenerife with 4 main elements:
1. A stylised vulcano which represents Teide, the main vulcano of Tenerife, definitely one of the main symbols as it can be seen anywhere on the island.
2. The sun, which shines 365 days per year, especially in the South of the island where all the colivings are based.
3. A detail a little more sophisticated than the others, the tajinaste which is a typical flower, growing exclusively in the Canary Islands.
4. A palm tree. It just couldn’t be missed when representing these subtropical islands.
The colour palette
Using the yellow was a forced choice given by the name (as mentioned above amarilla stands for yellow in Spanish), but to that I had to pair a colour which would match properly and stand out more on light backgrounds.
Among the candidates were green, purple and blue. The latter was the final choice looking more fresh, adaptable and most of all because it recalls the sea.
For both yellow and blue 5 tones are used. The mid tones are the main ones, while the others are to be used secondarily.
The fonts
The font used is Poppins, which roundness gives a friendly and young look.
The website
The website divided in 3 sections, which are the “3 COs” of Amarilla: Community, Coliving and Coworking. It explains the concept, presents the company and showcases locations, accommodations and activities organised by the company. All forms are then made in Typeforms in order to make a pre-reservation, which eventually needs to be done via phone or email directly with the team.

The homepage
The homepage gives a little introduction of the company, presenting the locations, the kind of accommodations, the coworking and the activities.

The coliving
Coliving is the section dedicated to the accommodations.

Shared and Private
Accommodations can be either shared or private.

Community and Coworking
Here are the other two sections. Community includes all the activities organised by Amarilla for digital nomads and remote workers. While in Coworking are showcased the coworking spaces and the packages available.
